FAQ

Why should I use a public adjuster?
Studies have shown people who use a public adjuster dramatically increase their settlement. If damages occurred on your property, would you know what to do? Most people would say call your insurance company. However, there are steps that you are responsible for as a property owner that you must uphold. My public adjusting services assist you in professionally presenting the full scope of your loss.
When do I use a public adjuster?
The best time to utilize my service is before any accidents occur. That way, you can review your policy for potential gaps in coverage. However if loss does happen, don't hesitate to contact me for a consultation. These can happen up to a year after a loss takes place. You can contact me at (443) 280-9111 or ebonyallenpublicadjuster@gmail.com.
What is the process of using you as a public adjuster?
My process follows a few simple steps. First I ask you to complete a brief 60 second survey. If you qualify, we will then move forward. Then you have the opportunity to schedule your consultation. I offer both virtual and in person meetings. During this meeting, you will receive professional recommendations based on current trends within your state and your individual needs. At no point will you be sold a product. This consultation is complementary.
How much are your services?
My services are paid on a contingency fee basis. This means there are no out of pocket costs for my services because I am paid a percentage of the settlement. The percentage varies based on the scope of your unique loss.
Can I just use a contractor?
I encourage you to use a licensed contractor once the full scope of your loss has been determined. Contractors are sometimes needed during the claims process as well. My services help you in secure a settlement that addresses your loss. Contractors play a necessary but different role in the claims process.
Can I get help for being underpaid for a past claim?
Only public adjusters can reopen a claim once it is settled. This is one of the many advantages of using my services. If you feel that you may have been underpaid, I evaluate past accidents up to one year.
How do I make an appointment?
You can complete the survey above or call (443) 280-9111 if you have a fire, water, or weather related emergency. It is important to address these losses as quickly as possible once everyone is determined safe from harm.

I work hard to inform my clients of their rights and advise them on efficient steps to secure their property.  It is a joy to watch them empower themselves and better prepare for the future.
